Northrop Grumman jobs soaring into Grand Forks
GRAND FORKS, N.D. — Construction has begun on a new Northrop Grumman facility at the Grand Sky unmanned aerial system business park in Grand Forks. The facility, which is scheduled to be complete in 2016, will initially create 100 jobs with the potential for more as the operation grows.
Northrop Grumman is erecting a 36,000-square-foot facility at Grand Sky. The aerospace and technology company plans to use the center for research, aircrew and maintenance training and other operations. Northrop Grumman, which is the fifth largest defense contractor in the country, has more than 64,000 employees worldwide.
